Job description

• Centralizing risk control and analytics, appetite management and monitoring and reporting functions in Switzerland to optimize our business model;
• Global benchmarking, strategic design of international risk management frameworks, risk modelling and analysis, risk management organizational design and development and alignment of all mentioned with global and local regulatory developments;
• Digitizing and streamlining our international risk management framework;
• Strengthening the risk culture and governance in line with developing globally and locally relevant benchmarks;
• Working on equity derivative related market data, analytics including modelling and portfolio management solutions;
• Developing and training our existing risk staff in Switzerland to take over the global responsibilities.

Skills and experience

• Higher university education in business or finance;
• Risk management expert with broad based exposure to global risk matters;
• Min 10 years’ professional experience in top private banks or consulting firms with strong reputation in risk management and strategic risk consulting;
• Strong understanding of local risk practices in the varied jurisdictions in our footprint;
• Excellent UK market knowledge;
• Financial analysis skills and project management skills;
• Ability to communicate effectively in a well-structured, logical and concise way;
• Negotiation skills and solution-oriented approach;
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Leadership;
• Team spirit;
• English mother tongue;
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office package.
